Looking for inspiration for your writing, then try this typewriter, the Halda portable typewriter was made famous by Ernest Hemmingway in the later stages of his writing career, he broke away from American-made typewriters (Royals in particular) to use the Swedish Halda.

This is a real workhorse of a typewriter and is perfect for the writer who wants to type for hours each day.

This Halda Portable typewriter was made by the Facit-Halda Company of Sweden.

The serial number of this particular typewriter is P 12962, indicating that it was made in 1952.
