The Corona No. 3
Corona produced the No. 3 from 1912 until 1941. Its folding carriage allowed the machine to fit into a compact case, making it one of the best-known early portable typewriters.
The model’s success helped establish the Corona Typewriter Company before its later merger with L. C. Smith.
Condition When Sold
My Cup of Retro deep-cleaned and serviced this machine. The platen was reconditioned, the mechanical parts were checked, and a new ribbon was installed.
The body retained visible signs of its age. The machine remained operational and suitable for occasional typing.
